Stained Glass Leadlight for Beginners

Learn how to make your own leadlight glass panel in this hands-on stained glass course in Sydney. Designed for beginners and suitable for all levels, this practical class teaches you the essential techniques required to construct a traditional leadlight window panel from start to finish.

Through step-by-step demonstrations and guided practice, you will learn glass cutting, leading, soldering, cementing and polishing. You’ll begin by building a small practice panel before progressing to your own full-sized design (maximum 450mm x 450mm due to space constraints). Our experienced tutor brings over 20 years of expertise, ensuring you develop strong foundational skills and confidence in working with glass and lead.

Please note: This course focuses exclusively on traditional leadlight construction. Copper foil, glass painting, kiln-fired glass and restoration work are not covered.
